Test Screening

The first official Test Screening of the completed "Where's Waldo: The Second Coming" is being held in the Sean Malloy Editing Suite on January 8th, 2007 at 7:00 pm. The film is basically in labor right now and John and myself will be giving the final push for the rest of the week. We are beyond excited and hope to have DVDs out for fans who have been waiting for this for 2 years now. We'll post reviews as soon as they come in. This is legit the film is truly in the final stages of editing.

Editing Report

Where's Waldo: The Second Coming is finally nearing completion! BS you may say, well this time I assure you it is not BS it is far from it actually. With most of the non-montage scenes put together in one way or another the The Second Coming should see the light of day come it's planned January release. While editing today a new scene was shown to myself and it truly is one the finest talkie scenes in the picture, it rivals the campfire scene in almost every way. The finale has been tightened up and the YouTube version of 'The Chase Sequence' pales in comparison to the 'Director's Cut.' Music is being added and the gravitas to each scene has gone up at least 4 to 5 notches. John and I are working as fast as Final Cut will allow and should have the montages done within the week, after that it's simply a case of cleaning it up, testing it with an audience, retouching, burning to DVD, and sending it out to anyone who wants one. Everyone get excited this is really happening and if you have seen the 'test footage' you haven't seen anything yet.

*BONUS* A Richard Photo Gallery will be up soon with pictures from his old apartment.

Editing Report -- Preview

This weekend I will be viewing the first new scenes of the brand new 'Where's Waldo' film having been unable to get to Alexandria to help in the editing process I am beyond excited. John is working at double speed for as long as he can day and night to put our little film that could back on schedule. The finale and the first 3 to 4 scenes are at a YouTube worthy stage let's say, and based off my opinion of our YouTube worthy scenes I will be in 'hog heaven' watching these new ones... over and over and over and over. Not out of the inflated sense of ego but to scrutinize and perfect every frame and make the best damn low budget action/ horror/ drama the world has ever seen. I will be back with a full review of the segments on Sunday.

Where's Waldo: The Second: Director's Cut

We said it before with always a tinge of sadness knowing it really isn't possible, that "...oh yeah, we'll have Waldo 2 done by the end of (insert future date), no doubt. We just wanted to keep people's spirits up and it gave us something to work towards. This time however is different, right now John Bradley is locked in his room editing as fast as he can with the New Apple G5 iMac (*). A lot of this footage has never been seen by anyone in the world and so far it looks with a slight bias, Amazing! Some of the most gut wrenching, blood smearing, tear jerking scenes are just knowing being captured and put into the proper places. A lot of surprises await all 14 of you (well 12 since i think John and I count as 2 of those visitors) if you've kept up with us for the past year you may know all the secrets... if you can piece them together. The secrets are in the maps follow the clues and you will solve, The Stripe Code. That's not a joke either. Also an executive decision has been made to not post any clips on YouTube for the time being. Good deal of 'story' lies within this footage and we feel you all deserve a full on DVD because this kind of 'Cheap-o-Vision' cinema that has to be seen in whole to achieve the full experience (we hope), so this can be a gift from us this Chanukah or equivalent. We're hoping for an extended cut that should clock in at 36 to 41 minutes, what a great day to be a Sean Malloy Fan! (...cough...*cough*..) I'll leave you with a look at one of the designs for the now fast approaching DVD of Where's Waldo: The Second Coming.

Where's Waldo: The Second Coming Back on Schedule

Well it looks like The Second Coming will see the light of day after all. The lack of updates have been because of the excitement of John Bradley's new purchase of a Canon Elura 100 MiniDV! For those of you who have followed the making of from the beginning you know that the only remains of WWTSC are on two DVDs and 8 MiniDV tapes that were recovered over the summer. Due to a lack of DV camera the editing of Waldo was next to impossible, but with a renewed spirit of completion upon him John Bradley has took it upon himself to put Waldo back together again. With the purchase of the Canon Elura 100 (pictured at left) all of our fans from YouTube will have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks. John Bradley will be editing and throwing up footage as soon as possible. Hopefully the whole thing can be put together in a somewhat cohesive way, the idea of shooting new scenes has been discussed and will more than likely happen this winter break. Finally the 70 or 80 of you out there will get to see a second finished product from Sean Malloy Productions.
A few things to look forward to:
